One common question frequently asked by beginners is, “When do I left-click and when do I right-click?” Well, mouse buttons are made with different functions. The most common that we use is the left-click.
Left-click is used for selecting an object, and by double-clicking. When an object was clicked once by the left key, it will select it. From this picture below, I left-click on the Documents and it was highlighted. Double-clicking the object using left-click simply means “Run” or “Open.” That means it will open the object that you double-clicked.
Right-click is mainly for opening contextual menus, which are commonly known as pop-up menus. Right-clicking on any object within the Windows changes the content of the command.
